And Now for A Few Announcements…

As you might already know, “Sleeper’s Run” has won the 2011 Reader Views Literary Awards in the global category for South America. I’m very proud to have represented my corner of the world at this event, even more so when I’m writing about universal themes in a language not my own. Keep on running indeed.

June promises to be a month full excitement as well. First, “Sleeper’s Run” will be featured at the BookExpo America in New York, from June 3rd to the 7th. My novel will be featured among the finalist of the ForeWord Review’s Book of the Year Awards among the thriller/suspense nominees. If you follow the link to the site, you might get a chance to see my new ad on the top banner. Also, my book will be participating at the IndieReader Discovery Awards, which is going to be held at the BEA. Wish me luck.

On June 21-26, “Sleeper’s Run” will be at the American Library Association conference and exhibition in Anaheim, California . During this event, the winners of the ForeWord Reviews Book of the Year Award will be announced. Fingers crossed.

Last, but not least, Sleeper’s will do a bit of traveling in a few international trade shows: on August 29th to September 2nd it will be at the Beijing International Book Fair. On October 10-14 it will be at the Frankfurt Book Fair. And finally, “Sleeper’s Run” will be at the Moscow International Book Fair at some point in December. You can get more information through the “Sleeper’s Run” Facebook page and twitter account.

Lots of links, but then again, lots of stuff happening, including the first year anniversary of the novel’s publication. It has been quite a ride so far. Let's see what the future holds for Eric Caine.
Keep on running!
